Sorry

I have not posted in a long time. I got to my 10 book goal. I am know in a reading bowl club at my school. Today we had team try-outs. I hope I get in so that I can make a blog about my reading bowl books. So far we have read We all can't be Rattlesnakes by Patrick Jennings, Savvy by Ingrid Law, and Chase by Jessie Haas. So far they have been good. I hope I can start a new blog.

TheHigher Power of Lucky

In this book there are many adventures. This is not my favorite book but one I think some people will like. This is my 7th book and I have 3 books left!

Attack of the Mutant Underwear

         Attack of the Mutant Underwear is a journal about a boy who is going to a new school in 5th grade and wants to become a good kid. He tries to not get in trouble and turn in his homework on time. His experiences in 5th grade are fun to read about.

Willow Run

I have just read Willow Run and this book is about a girl in World War 2. Her brother is in the army and he goes missing. She moves to Willow Run for her dads new job and meets new friends. This book is one I recommend!

What I Just Read - How to Train Your Dragon

How to Train Your Dragon is a great book for any kind of reader because it is very detailed and a fun book! This book was turned into movie! Hiccup is the main character and is the hero! I hope you look in to this book!

Frindle

          I just finished Frindle and I thought that this book could in no way be improved. The beginning and ending were marvelous because it had a lot of detail. I think this book should have gotten the Newberry Award. Andrew Clements is a wonderful writer because he has a great imagination. This book is one that I recommend.

I am reading Frindle by Andrew Clements. People that I know say it is a good read.

We the Children

I have just read Benjamin Pratt and the Keeper's School and it is a great book! It has a little bit of all of the genres (adventure, mystery, and story with a message) and I really recommend it. The characters learn to appreciate what they have. In the movie I see Logan Lerman (Hoot,The Lightning Thief) playing Benjamin.

I finshed Because of Winn- Dixie and it is a great book!!! It has humor and is a good book for summer reading. It can be a book group book or just a fun book. This book is a book that I suggest.

When You Reach Me

When You Reach Me is a book that I think is a good book for young kids and adults. It is full up surprising things that are very interesting. I read this book over the school year and loved it. It is about a girl who lives in New York City. Her Family (the girl,her mom, and mom's boyfriend) are not like other people at her school, like the people who go on trips everywhere. She has a friend that gives up on her. She makes new friends that go on adventures with her. She also finds notes that lead to a big problem.

What I am Reading

I am reading Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo and it is a wonderful book. I am almost to the 100th page and already LOVE it. This book is about a girl who finds a dog and the dog helps her find friends. The dog also helps her forget about her mother that left when she was little and her father, a preacher, won't tell her anything about her mother. I like this book because it is very detailed. This Newberry Honor Book is one that I love.
